Due to his iconic status such tribute acts are in great demand. The first notable impersonator of Elvis was Andy Kaufman. Another striking impersonator was Bill Haney. He appeared when he was alive and was Elvis's personal favorite. There is a brand of such artists such as the look-alikes who concentrate majorly on visual elements of Elvis fashion and style using accessories such as wigs, jewellery and costumes.
